Social events

Here at TOTAL, we believe in aiding our Graduates to create a social network outside of the office that will help them adapt to life in Aberdeen. This involves organinsing social events and team building exercises for those on the Graduate Programme to participate in when they first arrive up in the North East. There are also several Company events in which the Graduates participate, examples include:

TOTAL TOGETHER - this is a two week induction to the TOTAL Group, held in Paris. The Company aims to send all new recruits from around the world, within 18 months of them joining TOTAL, to meet each other and gain an introduction to the business. They attend events during the day that build up their knowledge of TOTAL internationally and at night experience the city sights. This year included a visit to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, a guided tour of the palace at Versailles and a dinner cruise on the Seine.

ANNUAL DINNER DANCE - this is an event open to all employees of TOTAL Aberdeen and their spouses. It is an evening of fine dining and entertainment open to all those that wish to attend.

FAMILY FUN DAY - this is an annual event that is open to all employees and their families. It is a day of optional fun activities and food.

INTER-COMPANY SPORTING EVENTS - TOTAL takes part in the Activity Mix Corporate Decathlon which enables employees to try out several different types of sporting events.

NIGHTS OUT - there have been a number of nights out this year for individuals, organised by the Company and by the Graduates themselves. It is a great chance for new recruits to mix and make friends.
