Recruitment process
At TOTAL we know that there are common questions asked by Graduates interested in applying to join us. Outlined below are some of these together with answers in order to help you understand the process we use and the timings involved.
When can I apply? - Our Graduate 2012 recruitment process becomes live in October 2011 and you can then complete and submit your online application. When is the closing date? - 31st December 2011. Please ensure your application is submitted by this time. How do I apply? - We only accept online applications via this website. Click here for the online application form. When will I hear if my application is suitable? - During January 2012 we will be reviewing applications for all disciplines. Please try not to contact us during this time unless there has been a change in your circumstances. How will I hear? - If you haven’t passed the first screening we will write to you to advise that you have not been successful. If you do pass the first stage one of our team will contact you by telephone to organise a first interview. When are the interviews? - These will start in February and will continue into March. Each interview will last for around one hour and will be conducted by an HR Advisor and a representative from your discipline. We aim to make them informal but thorough and it’s an ideal chance for you to find out more about us. What happens next? - As soon as all the interviews in your discipline have been completed we will telephone you to let you know if we are taking your application further. If you have passed this second stage we will invite you to attend an Assessment Centre. The first of these takes place in February and Assessment Centres will continue into March. If you are invited to attend Assessment Centre you will receive full details at that stage. If I’m successful, when can I start? - Our graduates will start in September 2012.
